Dorset Street, Dublin

Noel and the gang from Daigon carried out work for us on Dorset street in 2019-2020 in a 9- apartment block.  The work consisted of plumbing, ventilation, under floor heating and Ochsner air to water heat pump.

I must say as a company we are very pleased with the system installed as this would have been our first-time using air to water. Temperature controls in all rooms makes it so easy to control and keep the temperature to your own requirements. Having hot water any time of the day is a great factor. Speaking to the tenants in the apartments they are very happy with the system and the cost of running them is brilliant they tell me.

Noel and his team from day one were as professional as you could ask for and always showed up when required and never once held up the job. One thing that stands out for me was the communication and his reporting at each stage of the job, nothing was a problem just solutions - this made working with Noel very pleasurable.

After sales service is excellent, they were always on the end of the phone and travelled to Dublin if needed. This to me is the icing on the cake, to have that type of service especially in the first few months of clients moving in.

I would highly recommend DaiGon for any or all of your plumbing works and especially if you’re thinking of installing heat pump system you will not be disappointed GUARANTEED.

I hope DaiGon continue to work on our future jobs in 2021 and beyond and continue to provide the professional service I have seen over the last 2 years.

After considerable deliberation and consultation, we got the Air Thermal Heat Pump system installed in late 2018 to feed heat and hot water to 29 apartments, a busy kitchen and Day Care Centre as well as substantial common areas.

We are extremely happy with both the system and the installation. Noel was very clear about the installation process and disruption really was kept to a minimum. We were also reassured that what we were getting was a high-quality product and not a cheap alternative with Noel using his analogy of a Rolls-Royce system which turned out to be accurate.

The environmental benefits are considerable and for a small ethical charity like us, that means a lot. The reduced running costs was also important. Although I didn’t really understand prior to installation what Noel was talking about, there is a gentler, more even heat underneath which is a big plus reported by the residents.

Being such a large complex, installation wasn’t without some minor teething problems, but we were delighted with the level and speed of support. Given the importance our elderly and vulnerable residents place on warmth and the importance of a good reliable heating system we were delighted at the availability of Noel and his team.  Noel is also particularly good at explaining what is actually a very complex system, in plain English without making you feel stupid.

Regarding the running costs, it has been difficult providing a precise calculation given the volatility of heating oil and electricity prices but when you add up the additional electricity costs and take away the heating oil cost, we are saving over €10,000 per year.

I would have no hesitation in recommending DaiGon given the positive experience we’;ve had with their products and services, especially given the environmental benefits and cost savings.
